Welcome to the Summerland Dressage Club website. Summerland Dressage Club Inc is a non-profit organisation which promotes dressage in the Northern Rivers District of North Coast New South Wales, Australia. The Club runs training days, EA sponsored judges clinics and official and unofficial dressage competitions at the beautiful Bangalow Showgrounds.
New members are always welcome. Your membership entitles you to a training day once a month and discounts on entry fees to all our club-hosted events. We have a reciprocal arrangement with Tweed Valley Equestrian Group and Richmond Valley Riding Club so our members can enter their events for the same entry fee as members of those Clubs. Club members receive a quarterly newsletter with all the latest dressage event information and Club results.
The Twilight Dressage Series has been designed for members who want to get out in a friendly, low key environment, meet a few people and have a try at getting yourself and your young, or old horse, around a dressage arena. Experience or age is not an issue; all welcome. The Series kick off scheduled for 28th January, 2012 has been postponed until the 11th February due to rain. Entries for that event will be accepted until Wednesday, 1st February. Click the link to find out more.
